| Leaving the urban center of Grand Rapids, byway offers vistas of lowland meadows and lakes, then winds through mixed hardwoods and stands of conifers and aspens in the Chippewa National Forest. Within the byways corridor, visitors can enjoy popular recreational activities such as hiking, camping, fishing, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling. |
