| Description |
| Byway passes through thousands of acres of untouched wetlands, including four national wildlife refuges, salt and freshwater resources. It also features Civil War and archeological digsites, and miles of natural beaches, marshlands, and prairie lands. Visitors can enjoy wildlife viewing, bicycling, hunting, boating, swimming and other recreational activities. Following Hurricane Rita, which hit southwest Louisiana on September 23, 2005, the Creole Nature Trail All-American Road has been in a state of recovery. |
|
